About the position

KeyLimeTie is currently seeking a full-time User Experience (UX) Architect to conceptualize the layout and functionality contained within interactive interfaces of websites and mobile applications. Working alongside the sales team, design team and development team, the UX Architect is responsible for optimizing the usability of a website or mobile application to allow the various user roles to accomplish their objectives in a manner that results in the best possible user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, intuitive, and possesses a keen understanding of technology as it affects user experiences.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Work directly with clients to discover project scope and gather requirements
  • Create use cases to identify user roles and user objectives
  • Analyze data and content to architect website sitemaps and application screenflows
  • Conceptualize the layout of intuitive user interfaces in the form of wireframe mockups
  • Optimize the usability of existing interfaces by assessing the existing layout of data and proposing updated layouts and functionality
  • Work directly with an on-site development team to ensure proposed functionality is feasible and adheres to the client’s budget
  • Present and justify proposed mockup solutions internally and to clients
  • Document functional requirements of proposed interface solutions
  • Maintain familiarity with the capabilities of various programming technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc.) and their impact on development efforts, user interface possibilities, data accessibility, and compatibility across multiple versions of the same platform (web browsers, mobile OS, etc.)

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Required - Minimum 2 years of industry experience working within interactive design mediums including websites and mobile applications
  • Required - BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required - Must present a portfolio of industry examples illustrating step-by-step solutions to project requirements
  • Required - Must be a resourceful self-starting individual capable of creating workflows conforming to the needs of the position
  • Required - Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Previous experience with Web/Interface Design and Adobe software is a huge plus
